How does Amoena Climate technology work?

Climate technology works by absorbing excess body heat into the cool gel layer of the Climate pad, while a soft textile fabric wicks moisture away from the chest wall to leave you feeling cool and comfortable. When your body temperature drops, the pad will give off stored heat, warming the body again. It all adds up to a breast form that keeps your body heat constantly at a comfortable level, so you’re never too hot or too cold.

How long will the refreshing sensation of the Climate pad last?

The climate pad is designed so that it can be worn everyday from morning to night. However, the regulating effect can vary depending on individual body temperature and perspiration level, frequency and duration of exercise and climate. Therefore how long the refreshing sensation lasts will vary from woman to woman. To extend the cooling effect, the Climate Pad can be put in the refrigerator; 30 minutes is usually a sufficient amount of time.

Can Climate be used while swimming?

Yes, Climate will not be damaged by salt or chlorine, although the breast form should be washed soon after being worn in the water. You will need to change the Climate Pad after swimming since the pad will be damp. Climate is supplied with a spare Pad and you can also purchase more pads if required. Amoena also supply a swimform, which you may prefer to use when swimming.

Has the Climate breast form been tested?

Yes, the new breast form was highly rated in tests in Germany and the US. It is Amoena’s policy that all new products and innovative technologies be thoroughly tested by women who have had breast surgery, before the products are introduced for sale.

Has the textile fabric been tested and evaluated for skin friendliness?

Yes, all the materials that are used have been successfully tested for cytotoxity, sensitisation and irritation. They provide optimum skin-friendliness and wearer-comfort.

Can the breast form be worn without the Climate Pad?
