Following a mastectomy, it's important to wear a breast form to help compensate for the weight of the lost breast tissue. Although silicone breast forms are designed to match the weight of the remaining breast, they often feel much heavier, as the weight is held away from the body in the cup of the bra.

In some cases, you might find it more comfortable to wear a lightweight prosthesis, particularly if you have a large bust or suffer from back problems or lymphoedema. Women who lead particularly active or sporty lifestyles also appreciate the benefits of a lighter weight prosthesis.

All the Amoena ranges (with the exception of the Amoena Individual) are available in a lightweight version and these are almost a third lighter than our tranditional prostheses, offering exceptional comfort during wear.
